I personally like the eclipse cruiser of the eldar for it's graceful design but it really is too small to be a real carrier! 8 pts for design... 4 for functionality!

Oh! I like the retribution and emperor too... They are brutal looking ships.

That is a tough question, and generally I like a range of ships for different reasons. For example, the Imperial ships are a lot better than the Space Fleet ones simply because they feel like huge cities adn temples, as they should. My favourite model would probably be the Chaos cruisers, simple because of they variety possible and they really look mean. In general, the Eldar are OK, but they lack something, I just cant think what. I dont really like the Orks.

I will have to agree with you Outsider, the Retribution and Emperor class ships are the best looking. following them I would say some of the bigger Chaos ships.

Well, there are so many nice models from diferent raeces that makes it dificult to give an answer... Maybe because they're new but the Necron tomb ship looks very cool to me!

I hve to admit that I'm not that bothered by the Necron ships. My personal favourite would be either the Eclipse, or the Aurora. But thats me being biased.
For other races i would say my favourite is the Retribution (but thats probably because I made my brothers for him) or the Dauntless.

my favourite ship is the retribution battleship, to me it just radiates what a battleship should be, big guns that pack a punch, and to me it's also a graceful model

The Eldar and Imperial Navy fleets have by far the best models if you asked me. As for my overall favourite ship, it would probably be the Eldar Ecilpse Cruiser, although a number of other ships are close seconds and I've never seen a Voidstalker up close and personal.

Brute Ramships rule.
i like the simple design and concept of the ship. and the model is so simple and it looks so brutish.

Although I collect Orks (RAM! RAM! RAM!) I have to say that the plastic Imperial Cruisers re some of the nicest modles GW has ever produced...in fact BFG period has produced some of the best models eevr released. I wonder why none of them made the Top 100...

Maybe I am being picky, but I am putting together an Imperial Cruiser at the moment and they are not nearly as nice as the Chaos cruisers. I found that the two sides dont go together without seeing the join, and even the engine housing shows a hole in the back instead of meeting the hull proerly. The Chaos cruisers are incredibly well designed, even most of the sprue connecters are eventually hidden when complete.

I bought the starter box Friday night, and started putting the Imperial cruisers together Saturday, and I've been quite impressed--the molds aren't perfect, but I like the look of the ships, and the peices do fit together very well, although that little hole by the engines can be annoying--I'm hoping primer will solve a lot of the problems though.
The Dauntless class is possibly my favorite imperial ship, though--it's the sports car of capital ships--fast and maneuverable, and the model looks it.
