I am looking at putting together the Aspect Warrior stands for my Eldar, and only two are not represented by the miniatures. Does anyone have any idea for the Dire Avengers and Fire Dragons, aside from differently painted Guardians?

I realised this but took the simple approach of putting an exarch with the guardians and painting them blue for Dire Avengers, as I couldn't be bothered to convert on such a small scale. Fire Dragons, I would say the closest is probably the Dark Reapers. I know you want something more substantial than painting, but I never bothered converting any of the infantry due to lack of time and I couldn't be bothered on such a small scale, so I dont have any other suggestions sorry.

Did anyone ever use the harlequin troops from the Eldar sprue? Personally I never did since they never had the models for the Great Harlequin, shadow seer, death jester. There's only so many ways you can use an exarch. I figured you could use the exarch as a death jester by cutting off his wings, the farseer as the shadow seer, but didn't come up with what to use as a great harlequin.
As a result they are still on the sprues. With the new system on its way though, im not gonna do anything to them yet.

Did you ever find anything for DA and FD's? With the rules I've wrote for Eldar in EpicA, FD are pretty good, and I'd like to be able to field them. (I'm gonna change the Eldar list slightly, aspect formations must now consist of 50% of one aspect and 50% of the other. So you would have 3 Dire Avenger stands and 3 Fire Dragon stands per aspect formation. No more no less. the same applies for combat and jump pack formations [ so 50:50 WS and SH, 50:50 SS and HB])
I have some other mods, how do you want me to tell you the alterations? PM?

No. I am still sure that the second edition Eldar box had both of these, as well as a standard bearer in it, but I cant find any at all.
If you can email me any changes, I simply save all of the emails in a seperate folder and keep them together. What made you decide on the 50/50 rule?

It was basically because some aspects were better than others. I tried to make them like there 40k counterparts, but it made some much better. So to avoid people just using fire dragons with no dire avengers, you have to have a 50:50 mix.
Warp spiders are better than hawks, so same rule. Scorpians are better than banshees, so same again. As one is better than its partner, it makes it simple saying a 50:50 mix.

How about buying a detachment of the cheaper side, and then being able to upgrade to the more better aspects. Would this balance things as people realised that they were more points for a similar unit?
Just a thought.

I'll have a look at doing that. It could be the way to do it. It may mean changing the points and units per formation. I'll have to try it out. Thanks for the input.
