I am, or course, talking about the limited edition marines that were 'avaliable' at UK Games Day 2002. I know some poeple here have some of the little guys so what do you think? Has anybody made one up yet? How hard were they to assemble (with the head of the marine being smaller then a pin head!) And if GW decide to make more of them as Special Chars and such, do you think they would seel well or be a good idea?
Me? I have one or two and assembling one of them was a joke. After sneezing i realized I had lost the head and the whole assembly process decended into a feasco! Even with a pair of tweezers I still managed to mess up the model! Nice idea GW as a limited edition thing but as an actual model for release, its gonna fail badly I think.
So....Tell me about yours, or what you think of them.

After sneezing i realized I had lost the head and the whole assembly process decended into a feasco! I have not assembled mine yet, but I have been thinking and working out how I would do it. I guess that a tiny bit of blu-tac on the end of a pin (the blunt end!) might help to pick the bits up and manipulate them. I would also not advise seperating the bits until you actually need them. More difficult, I think, will be cleaning and filing the pieces! Should be fun, but I dont think that I will get around to this for a while yet, other projects keep getting in the way (I am finally working on an Imperial Cruiser!). I dont think that they are a good idea for general release. Special characters are an OK idea (although I personally dont like the idea), but as one-piece moulds. I would rather they made the lot in plastic, and I could then chop bits off and move them around easier!
