Be carefful with this as there are actually a hell of a lot. For a start, you cant forget the Realm of Chaos books (two) and there were a few dealing with vehicles exclusively. All told, I think that there were about 15 books at the end of the Rogue Trader era! But I cant remember many of them at all.

Cheers Cybershadow. I was asking on behalf of my cousin who wants the complete set! I think he has given up getting them all but he has managed to pick up most of the important rules books and the books that he wanted most (the two Ork books). After getting my own copy of rogue traider (I missed 1st edition by a few years) it all seams so simple in design and ideas but i would hate to play any type of larger game using the RT system! For one thing here are no vivtory conditions in the main rule book

It seems that we have different opinions on this. Personally, I dont like victory conditions or points at all. I would rather either fight to the end or design a scenario specific set of conditions.
Rogue Trader was a bit complicated, and the vehicle rules are really not very good. The vehicle suppliment was worth getting. It gave you a side view of the vehicle and each section had armour values. You then took a transparent targetting template and placed it over the vehicle picture, your to-hit roll dictated how far you moved the point of your shot. It was a great a system, but a bit slower and almost impossible to miss a big vehicle.
RT was best for warbands. If you can also find the two Realms of Chaos books then they are great, but they go second hand for about seventy pounds each now! This gave you a random warband and a set of gifts and extras to award to your group as time went on. It was really aimed at Fantasy Battle, but was pretty cool.
The best bits about RT were the huge amountsof details, and the real Gothic feel to it all. I love that, and i will have to play a couple of games of it again.

I agree that the huge amount of detail could make for some much better games then maybe third or even second edition 40ks. All I have to do now is to convince my friends to re-renember half of the second edition rules and to learn the diffrent RT rules I saw the Relms of chaos books and they looked very cool although the price tag was too much for me. My cousin did manage to get a copy of the vehicle manual for only £5 which was pretty cheap. Thats one of the things RT has going for it over 3rd edition, the vehicle rules used to be much cooler with diffrent tables for diffrent locations.
