Well, after getting a post over on the Games-workshop forums, which jogged my memory, I finally know where I recognize the Devourer from.. ..perhaps it's a bit cheap of them to use already made Nid peices, to make new ships.. ..but I don't mind, it looks great, and decided to rip a few warriors apart and assemble me a Devourer.. ..coming together well for the most part, so far.

First up, welcome on board, it is always good to see new people here. A lot of the Tyranid ships in various magazines are made from 40K bits. However, I believe that the Devourer is a resin kit based on the 40K Tyranids. The Razorfiend is the same. Forgeworld are producing a new range of Tyranid ships, and we should see some more soon. When you get your ship together, post a picture in the forums so that we can all see what it is like.

Thanks for the invite, I came here from portant from the link in your tag, heh. I've enjoyed what I've seen/read here, though would be nice if could get more people here, heheh.
As far as the Devourer goes, it came out nicely, I think, not painted yet or anything, and will try to get a friend to allow me to use his cam to take a picture.
I've also been thinking about a rather odd conversion, based around the Dominus Astra, and a hive ship.. ..as they were pulled into the Warp, though I believe that doesn't mean it was actually destroyed, and the warp has an odd way of twisting things around a bit.

Getting more people here is something that I would love to do, and if anyone has any ideas how I would love to hear them! Your ships sound like interesting ideas, I am looking forward to them.
