I've just read the two battle reps on the site. And though Jackhammers is a good report, its never going to be as good as yours due to the lack of pictures.
Pictures always help with the descriptions, and reports are much easier to follow if they have them. So I was wondering that, when I finally get round to writing up a battle report, is there a way that I can lay it out in a format so that it includes some pics. Rather than just sending you a word document.
All I can think of at the moment is using paint brush. So if i wrote a report (its not on its way yet) in word and included pictures from paintbrush or something, would you be able to convert it to something like yours?
I just think It would help the readers loads in both understanding whats going on and learning tactis, if an account of the turns are laid out graphically.

Sure, just send whatever you have in whatever format you have. I can format pretty much anything here and put it in HTML. If you want to write the report in a word processor and email it me with pictures attached, then I can put it all together fairly easily (as long as there are notes in the report telling me what goes where). I use a paint package with layers, which allow you to move individual shapes around and rotate them without affecting anything else. Makes life a lot easier!

Okay. I'll have to get a game planned against my regular opponent. I'll get him to give me a hand recording it aswell. (he is a member here, but doesn't get to visit often). It'll probably be Eldar V Chaos, but I might include a few Orks, just to add some variety, and so that others can see what they are like etc. They dont seem to get much coverage.

Cyber: Is there any chance for you to make the battle report "printer friendly"? I might be doing something wrong, but I tryed to copy_past it to my pc in order to print it and read it later, but it turns out to be in a huge format, making it impossible to print in A4 fromat... Am I missing something? Thanks
Cheers Axt

That is something that I had not planned for! At the moment, I would guess that the pictures are what are using the space. To print, I simply print the web page, but I do it sideways (landscape) and it fits on a page nicely. It might be easier to print the web page rather than copy and paste it first. Let me know if you are still having trouble and we can sort something out.

I guess the prob was with the copy_past thing, because if we print it directly it ames out fine!

That is quite common. In general, it is the pictures and tables that cause the problems.
