The Angels of Wrath are an product of a subsequent founding from the Salamanders Chapter. They were considered lost when their Monastry Star Craft disappeared in the warp. Few records were ever kept, and the Chapter was forgotten. The Home Craft of the Chapter has travelled amongst the stars, and some say even into alien cultures and space. What lies within the Chapters home is completely unknown, and the Angels are not telling, but there are rumours of alien technology which has been traded or plundered. The Angels know that the Imperium will not tolerate such devices, and so no outsiders are allowed in.
The Angels do not have a home world. Instead they are based on a space craft, known as the Absolution. They travel the galaxy and recruit from various worlds.
As each type of world is different, the recruits are sent to specific companies, giving each company an individual identity. For example, recruits from jungle worlds are recruited into the eight company, and as a result this company prefers the use of flame weapons and make excellent trackers.
The Chapter also is unique in a special warrior type. Watchers are the individuals sent ahead of the Absolution to scout for potential recruits at worlds in the path of the Chapters vessel. They have been know to throw entire continents into revolt and turmoil simply to allow a specific individual to rise through the ranks and be tested by events that they have a hand in. They excel at remaining hidden and manipulating events and thousands have been sacrificed simply to observe the actions of one.

This company is the command company, and recruits from the best of the other companies.
This company contains all of the Watchers not currently scouting, as well as Chapter Commander and other staff. It is a relatively small company compared to the others.
1
Hive Worlds
The first company is adept at combat in refined spaces, such as space boarding actions and street level fighting. They have a higher proportion of infantry and less armour.
2
Ice Worlds
Ice worlds, with limited cover and restricted movement, produces troops which excel as drop troops.
3
Underground
This company specialises in siege actions, where their natural stubborness and knowledge of drilling and mining can be put to good use.
4
Aqua worlds
In worlds consisting of mostly or only sea, battle is joined at close range, as troops attempt to sink the enemy and over-run the vessels. This makes them excellent assault troops.
5
Ash/poisonous wastes
Where the elements are the biggest threat, battle is refined into heavy weapons, where cracking open the enemies cities can be fatal. These worlds are also often blasted smooth and so heavy weapons are unrestricted.
6
Desert worlds
These troops specialise in lightening raids using light vehicles.
7
Death worlds
This company is drawn from jungle and death worlds. They favour the flamer and make excellent trackers.
8
Factory worlds, forge worlds
The inhabitants of these worlds grow up with technology and are able to understand it at a deep level. They contain more of the Chapters exotic weapons and vehicles, but have less assault troops.
9
Barbarian worlds
These worlds produce excellent shock and berzerker troops.
10
Farming and agricultural worlds
This company is favoured towards tracking and snipeing, as well as sabotage and war in its subtle forms.
