Well, I got my very first blisters of bfg and I wonder how you guys do, as the ships dont hold themselves on the top of the flying base. It would be quite easy to glue them in this phase, and for the painting too, but I can see problems when the need comes for the fleet to travel those long distances inside the "warp-case"... Any ideas? Cheers A.

On my ships I've drilled the hole deeper, this was a bit loose though, so I then put some green stuff inside to make it a snug fit. I pushed in the stand to make the shape then took it out and let the green stuff dry. It does the job fine.

The drilling was my first thought, but I was missing the green stuff part! Thanks! By the way, do you glue them after the painting is done or just keep it loose for the transport?

I personally keep the bases seperate for ease of transport. It makes things a lot easier to carry. Nice idea about the Green stuff Shadow, I never thought of that. I always used to cut the stands till I got a snug fit. I will have to see if I can fing some spare stands to do them again

when i'm basing i cut the small extension from the stand and that usually ensures a snug fit, if that doesn't work or if the stem breaks i use superglue and blue tac, it seems to dry almost like concrete
