I got myself 9 Epic leman russ tanks today! The local store has some Epic models left over. (only metals, and mostly Hellhounds, warbuggies, and bombards)
So, I am thinking of what to paint the tanks. I am pretty sure I dont want a snow color scheme, so that means it will either be green camo, grey camo, or just grey. Any suggestions?
Can anyone provide any links to websites with pictures?

I would go for a desert scheme. GW did do a bubonic brown spray (still might) which would be perfect as the base colour. I've always liked the look of the Tallarn desert raiders though.

I always liked the greay/blue-grey camo scheme. WD had an article or two with the release of 3rd Edition showcasing various camo schemes, with ID stripes etc. You dont have to stick to these patterns. Have a look in the Epic Links section of this site. There should be a few points to other Epic pages to look for ideas. Let us know what you pick.

I have been having the same problem recently, I found some of my Epic tanks and I was wondering what colours to paint them in.
My 40k Tanks are painted in a grey camoflague which looks ok in 28mm scale but I am not convinced how fgood it would look in a smaller scale.
At one point I was considering doing my Epic IG in all black outfits but I thought the army might end up looking a bit dull and boring. I would have done the tanks black with dark grey highlighting.
any comments?
