Im making an Eldar fleet to go along with my army... what is a good force with them? I have no real experience in gothic so please tell me all you can. Anyways, here's the experimental list I thought up.
Eclipse Carrier (250)
Aconite Frigate x2 (130)
Hemlock Destroyers x6 (240)
Night shade destroyers x3 (120)
740 pts
Carrier would be for counter-ordnance, the friggates and hemlocks would run around causing havoc and generally destroying things, and the nightshades would launch torps to control enemy traffic. What do you think?

Thats a very good list. I played 2000pts aganst Imperial the weekend, and 3 of my 6 Hemloks did exceptionally well. The other 3 did very good too. I reckomend you have them in squadrons of three, as they are much easier to control and escape with. Six may get a bit unwiedly and may result in some still being in LOS after trying to retreat.
I also used 3 Aconites. These were also very effective. I had the three Aconites attack a Dictator first, reduce its shields and take a couple of points off, then the Hemlocks attacked and finished it off. These two together are a very good combination.
The Nightshades are to be used exactly as you said. To control the direction of the enemy. Launch them in a wide spread, so that the enemy will almost definantly get hit. With the re-rolls, usually you only need two torps to get a hit. If the enemy know this they some times panic, and either change course, and split up (a good thing for you) or charge through them and take a couple of hits. My opponent sent his escorts through a couple of times. Big mistake, they died.

Thanks, I will take your suggestion on the squadrons. Also, I was wondering about the deployment of bombers... when is it most advantageous to use them? I imagined only when there arent any enemy bombers on the table, but with holo fields... ah! Head hurts!!!

Personally I unload as many bombers as possible. I only send out the odd one or two fighter wings, just to help them on thier way. I find that if you unload a load of bombers, your opponent unloads fighters, which means you dont need many fighters yourself, as there aren't any enemy bombers around.
One or two stands of fighters accompanying your bombers help lots. As enemy fighters approach, send your fighters after them. You maybe lucky and have your fighters remain in play too.
